Hacienda de Chihuahua Añejo Sotol is an exquisite expression of a traditional Mexican spirit, distilled from the wild-harvested Dasylirion plant, commonly known as the Desert Spoon. Unlike tequila or mezcal, sotol boasts a distinct denomination of origin in Chihuahua, Coahuila, and Durango. This Añejo designation means the spirit is aged for a minimum of one year in French white oak barrels, imparting a sophisticated complexity. It presents a smooth and refined character, with prominent notes of vanilla, caramel, and toasted oak, beautifully interwoven with the underlying herbaceous, earthy minerality of the sotol plant. This spirit offers a unique, velvety mouthfeel and a long, warm finish, making it an excellent choice for sipping neat to appreciate its depth and history.
