Heredad De Hidalgo Amontillado Sherry is a distinguished example of dry, medium-bodied sherry from Jerez, Spain, known for its unique aging process. It begins its life under a protective layer of flor yeast, like a Fino, before the flor dies off and the sherry is exposed to oxidative aging. This dual maturation imparts a complex character, blending the fresh, savory notes of Fino with the nutty, deep richness of Oloroso.
