Koch El Barril Mezcal is a distinctive and traditional expression, hand-crafted by the esteemed family of mezcaleros, the Koch family, in Oaxaca, Mexico. This spirit is made from the rare *Barril* agave, a wild variety known for its concentrated flavor profile and long maturation period. The agave hearts are roasted in earthen pits, crushed by a stone tahona, and naturally fermented before being double-distilled in copper pot stills.
This meticulous process yields a mezcal of exceptional complexity.
