Koch El Coyote Mezcal is an exceptional artisanal mezcal distilled from 100% wild-harvested *Agave Karwinskii*, locally known as Coyote, which is highly prized for its complexity and rarity. This expression originates from the Mixteca region of Oaxaca and is crafted using traditional methods, including roasting the agave hearts in an underground conical oven and crushing them with a stone tahona.
The result is a sophisticated spirit characterized by a delicate balance of earthy smoke and pronounced mineral notes. On the palate, expect layers of dark spice, fresh herbs, and tropical fruit, culminating in a dry, long-lasting finish that reflects the rugged terroir. This is a complex mezcal ideal for savoring neat.
