Koskenkorva Sauna Barrel Vodka offers a unique profile, inspired by the smoky heat of a traditional Finnish sauna. This distinctive spirit is crafted from vodka distilled in the village of Koskenkorva and is then aged in oak barrels. During this maturation process, the vodka inherits a soft, smoky nature and a whisky-like character. The result is a full-bodied spirit with exceptional complexity. Expect hints of earthy oak, vanilla, and bourbon, complemented by light notes of tar and smoke. This innovative vodka is perfect for enthusiasts looking for a versatile spirit that transcends traditional categories. It is delicious enjoyed neat over ice to appreciate its full complexity, or as a flavorful base in classic whiskey cocktails like a Mint Julep or Manhattan.
