La Higuera Cedrosanum Solo is an exceptional expression of traditional mezcal, handcrafted by Maestro Mezcalero Don Ricardo Tosquiano in the high-altitude, mountainous region of Cedrosanum, San Luis Potosí. Unlike many mezcals, this spirit is distilled exclusively from the wild *Agave Salmiana*, locally known as the "Green Giant," which grows slowly and yields a distinct, complex flavor.
The agaves are slow-roasted in underground stone ovens and crushed using a traditional tahona, followed by natural fermentation and double distillation in copper pot stills. This meticulous process delivers a profile rich in savory, earthy, and mineral notes, balanced by hints of bright citrus and a touch of ripe pear. Bottled at a robust proof, this pure mezcal offers a profound taste of the rugged Mexican landscape.
