Limoncello di Capri is an authentic Italian lemon liqueur produced exclusively on the island of Capri and on the Sorrentine Peninsula. It is crafted using the peel of "Limone di Sorrento I.G.P." (Protected Geographical Indication) lemons, known for their intensely aromatic, thick skin and superior quality, which thrive in the mild coastal climate. The peels are infused in pure alcohol, allowing the essential oils to release their vibrant flavor and natural yellow color. This traditional method, which strictly excludes the use of preservatives, colorants, or stabilizers, ensures a fresh, bright, and invigorating taste.
This Limoncello offers a harmonious balance of tartness and sweetness, culminating in a smooth, aromatic finish. Best served ice-cold, it is the perfect digestivo after a rich meal, or it can be used to add a burst of Mediterranean flavor to cocktails.
