Los Siete Misterios Espadin Tepeztate Mezcal is a masterful and complex spirit that brings together two distinct agave varietals: the widely cultivated Espadín and the rare, wild-harvested Tepeztate. This blend showcases the best of both worlds, providing a foundational smoothness from the Espadín while inheriting the intense, almost psychedelic herbaceous and mineral notes unique to the Tepeztate. Produced in Santiago Matatlán, Oaxaca, the piñas are traditionally roasted in earthen ovens, milled by tahona, and double-distilled in copper pot stills. This meticulous process results in a profound mezcal, presenting savory aromas of green bell pepper, wet earth, and citrus zest.
