This vintage is crafted from Grands Crus, utilizing a blend of full-bodied Pinot Noir and elegant, mineral Chardonnay. The 2006 vintage is noted for its ripeness, resulting in a concentrated, dense, and rich character. Aged for an average of 6 years in the cellar, the 2006 Cristal offers a complex and evolving profile. The tasting notes reveal a rich bouquet of confit fruits like lemon and orange, complemented by white flowers, and subtle notes of lightly roasted nuts, tatin tart, and Danish pastries. It is an extroverted and powerful Champagne, showcasing exceptional density, and is drinking well now but can be aged for 20 years or more.
