Lucano Amaro is a distinguished Italian liqueur, born in 1894 from a secret family recipe passed down by Pasquale Vena in Basilicata. This classic *amaro* is crafted from a precise blend of over 30 herbs, including medicinal rhubarb, gentian, and absinthe, along with various citrus peels, offering a complex and balanced flavor profile.
The spirit presents a harmonious mix of bittersweet notes, with initial sweetness giving way to herbal intensity and a long, subtly bitter finish. Its deep amber color and medium body make it an ideal digestif, celebrated globally for its smooth character.
