Lucano Anniversario Amaro is a celebrated Italian liqueur crafted to honor the 120th anniversary of the classic Amaro Lucano recipe. This limited-edition expression maintains the foundation of the original, utilizing a complex blend of over 30 herbs, roots, and spices, including artemisia, bitter orange, licorice, and chamomile. The Anniversario differs through its extended maturation and a slightly higher proof, resulting in greater depth and intensity. It presents a rich mahogany color and offers a profound bouquet of spiced citrus peel, dark cocoa, and earthy medicinal notes. The palate is initially sweet, balancing quickly with a pleasant bitterness and a long, complex finish of baking spice and leather. It is traditionally enjoyed neat as a digestivo, served slightly chilled.
