Lunazul Añejo Tequila is a sophisticated expression of 100% Blue Weber agave, patiently aged for 18 months in American oak barrels, which is six months longer than the regulatory requirement for añejo. This extended maturation period results in a tequila with exceptional complexity and a deep amber color.
Distilled by the Beckmann family at Tierra de Agaves, Lunazul Añejo offers a rich and inviting profile. The nose presents appealing aromas of vanilla, caramel, and warm baking spices. On the palate, expect a velvety mouthfeel with flavors of roasted agave, toasted oak, dark chocolate, and a hint of dried fruit. It culminates in a long, smooth finish that balances sweetness with a pleasant warmth. This Añejo is ideal for sipping neat to fully appreciate its depth, or for crafting an elevated classic cocktail.
