Maker's Mark 46 is the first new major expression from the distillery since 1958, created by Bill Samuels Jr. This bourbon is distinguished by an extended aging process with seared French oak staves inserted into fully matured Maker's Mark. This innovative technique, known as French Oaked, imparts a unique complexity and depth to the whisky.
Bottled at 94 proof, Maker's 46 offers a rich profile without compromising the signature smoothness of the brand. On the nose, you will find hints of toasty French oak, sweet caramel, and baking spices. The palate is mildly sweet and beautifully layered with deep notes of vanilla and spice, culminating in a velvety, subtle, and pleasingly long finish. It is an ideal choice for bourbon enthusiasts seeking balanced complexity and a refined flavor.
