Marquis de Montesquiou VS Armagnac is an exquisite expression from Gascony, France, representing the youngest classification of this unique brandy. Distilled primarily from Ugni Blanc and Baco grapes in copper continuous stills, it captures the raw, vibrant character of the region. This VS (Very Special) is aged for a minimum of one year in local black oak casks, which imparts a subtle, elegant structure. The resulting spirit offers inviting aromas of fresh fruit, vanilla, and a hint of new oak. On the palate, it delivers a smooth, clean experience with notes of dried apricot, light spice, and a warm, persistent finish. Its freshness and potency make it an excellent base for classic cocktails like a D'Artagnan, or simply enjoyed neat to appreciate its youthful complexity.
