This bottling, released at 52% ABV and non-chill filtered, showcases the distinct influence of its aging environment—a subtropical island known for high humidity and coastal influence. Aged primarily in ex-bourbon barrels with a touch of ex-sherry cask maturation, this whisky offers a complex profile. Expect aromas of vanilla wafers, young pineapple, and orange zest. The palate delivers sweet notes of candied tropical fruit and roasted sweet potato, leading to a long finish characterized by malt and subtle smoke.
