Metaxa 12 Stars is a sophisticated Greek spirit, often described as a brandy or an aged amber spirit, and represents the pinnacle of the Metaxa Master's blending artistry. This expression is matured for at least twelve years in French Limousin oak casks, giving it exceptional complexity and a deep golden color.
It is crafted from wine distillates and combined with Muscat wines from the Aegean Islands and a secret blend of Mediterranean botanicals. The nose offers inviting aromas of dried figs, plums, and candied orange peel, complemented by notes of oak, dark chocolate, and a subtle spice. On the palate, it is velvety smooth and full-bodied, balancing sweet honeyed fruit with a warm, elegant finish. Metaxa 12 Stars is best enjoyed neat or on the rocks to fully appreciate its depth.
