Michter's US-1 American Whiskey is a distinguished small batch expression crafted to Master Distiller Dan McKee's precise standards and bottled at 83.4 proof (41.7% ABV). Unlike bourbon or rye, this American Whiskey is matured in whiskey-soaked American white oak barrels, contributing to its unique and complex profile.
It delivers a sophisticated tasting experience, offering deep notes of butterscotch and creamy vanilla. Hints of caramel and dried fruit emerge on the palate, culminating in a ripened fruit finish. This focus on limited quantity and quality maturation ensures that Michter's US-1 is consistently rich, smooth, and ready for release only when the tasting panel deems it perfect, making it a highly appreciated pour for any whiskey enthusiast.
