Mortlach 16 Years Whisky

Mortlach 16 Years Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a distinguished expression from the legendary Speyside distillery, celebrated for its robust, meaty character—a style often referred to as "The Beast of Dufftown." This expression is matured exclusively in Sherry casks, primarily first-fill and refill European oak, which imparts a profound depth of flavor. Bottled at 43.4% ABV, it features Mortlach's signature "2.81 distillation process," delivering a complex profile that is simultaneously rich and elegant. Expect deep, dark notes of plum, date, and toasted spice, beautifully interwoven with savory umami undertones and a lingering cocoa finish. This dram is a testament to traditional, time-honored Speyside whisky making.
