Mount Gay Eclipse is a classic, authentic Bajan rum from the world's oldest continuous rum distillery, originating in Barbados. This expression is crafted from high-quality molasses and pure coral-filtered water, undergoing a unique maturation process in toasted American white oak barrels.
The name "Eclipse" refers to a rare solar eclipse witnessed in 1910 over the brand's sugar cane fields. This rum features a brilliant golden hue and a well-balanced, approachable profile. On the nose, you are greeted with notes of banana, vanilla, and sweet almond. The palate delivers a smooth, medium-bodied experience with warm hints of spice, fruit, and a clean, oak-tinged finish.
