Nikka Coffey Vodka is a distinct Japanese vodka, uniquely distilled in Nikka's continuous "Coffey" still—a traditional type of column still rarely used today. This method, originally patented by Aeneas Coffey in 1830, results in a spirit with exceptional texture and purity. Crafted from a blend of corn and barley, the vodka is charcoal-filtered for a clean, silky mouthfeel. It stands out in the vodka category for its subtle complexity; while retaining classic neutrality, it offers a slight sweetness and rich body characteristic of the Coffey still. This luxurious texture makes it excellent for sophisticated cocktails where a smooth foundation is paramount, or simply enjoyed neat to appreciate its distinct craftsmanship.
