No.209 Barrel Reserve Sauvignon Blanc Gin is a unique expression that pushes the boundaries of traditional gin maturation. This spirit is first distilled in a classic pot still with a sophisticated blend of botanicals, yielding a bright and clean profile. It is then uniquely rested in barrels previously used to age Sauvignon Blanc wine from renowned wineries.
This secondary maturation imparts a delicate complexity, balancing the gin’s signature juniper and citrus notes with the subtle influence of the wine casks. Expect aromas of fresh green grape, gooseberry, and vibrant lime zest, evolving into a palate that is silky, soft, and slightly savory. The finish is long and elegant, showcasing a gentle oak influence. It is perfect for adventurous gin drinkers and excellent in a truly elevated Martini.
