Nucano Cuishe Joven Mezcal is a distinctive, artisanal spirit crafted from 100% wild-harvested Cuishe agave, a varietal prized for its concentrated, complex flavors. Originating from the steep slopes of Oaxaca, this mezcal is produced using traditional methods: the agave hearts are roasted in earthen pits, crushed by a stone tahona, and naturally fermented before being double-distilled in copper pot stills. This process yields a vibrant, clear (joven) mezcal characterized by a delicate balance of earthy, herbaceous notes and a subtle, satisfying smokiness.
