Nucano Tobala Joven Mezcal is a premium, artisanal spirit crafted in San Dionisio Ocotepec, Oaxaca, using the highly prized Tobalá agave (Agave Potatorum). This agave takes around 12 years to reach maturity, yielding a complex and distinct flavor profile. The mezcal is double distilled in copper pot stills, retaining the vibrant character of the Tobalá. As a Joven (young) mezcal, it is unaged, showcasing the pure, rich flavors derived from the ancestral roasting and distillation process. Expect an earthy nose with beautiful complexity, including notes of vanilla, subtle citrus, and smoky firewood. Despite a robust ABV of 44.8%, Nucano Tobala offers exceptional smoothness. This unique spirit is best appreciated neat to truly savor its depth and aromatic intensity.
