Ouzo Nektar Pilavas is a distinguished Greek aniseed liqueur crafted by the Pilavas family distillery in Patras since 1940. This expression is renowned for its smooth and balanced character, offering a sweeter profile than traditional ouzos. It is distilled with a careful selection of botanicals, where the dominant flavor of anise is elegantly complemented by subtle notes of licorice, fennel, and bright citrus and herbal accents. This meticulous balance results in a crisp and flavorful mouthfeel. At 38% ABV, it is mild and aromatic. This ouzo is traditionally enjoyed as a refreshing aperitif, often served with water over ice, and pairs exceptionally well with Mediterranean appetizers or grilled seafood like octopus and calamari.
