Paco Mulero Prisma Monastrell is a superb example of the Monastrell grape (also known as Mourvèdre), meticulously grown in the arid, high-altitude vineyards of Spain’s southeastern Jumilla region. This wine undergoes careful maturation, often involving a period in oak, to achieve a remarkable balance of robust structure and polished tannins. It presents a deep, opaque ruby color.
On the nose, expect intense aromas of dark bramble fruit—such as black cherry and blackberry—complemented by savory notes of tobacco, thyme, and a hint of dark chocolate. The palate is full-bodied and concentrated, delivering rich layers of fruit and spice with an earthy complexity.
