Palacios Remondo’s Plácet Blanco is an exceptional white wine from the Rioja Oriental sub-region, crafted predominantly from the indigenous Viura grape with a small percentage of other local white varieties. Renowned winemaker Álvaro Palacios applies minimal intervention techniques, resulting in a wine that truly expresses the high-altitude, limestone-rich terroir of their Alfaro vineyards.
The wine is fermented and aged in large oak barrels, offering a complex yet elegant profile. Expect a vibrant nose of white flowers, fennel, and citrus peel. On the palate, it delivers a fresh, mineral-driven texture balanced by subtle notes of toasted almond and spice from the oak.
