Père Magloire V.S.O.P. Calvados Pays d'Auge is an exceptional apple brandy, recognized for its rich character derived from a double distillation process in pot stills. It is exclusively crafted from apple ciders harvested in the Pays d'Auge region, a small, distinctive terroir in Normandy that gives the spirit its unique typicity. Aged to achieve its Very Superior Old Pale designation, this Calvados presents a beautiful golden-brown color. The nose is complex and floral, featuring apple blossoms, jasmine, and ripe fruit like apple and apricot. On the palate, expect rich notes of honey, vanilla, butterscotch, and light oak, complemented by hazelnut and almonds.
