Pike Creek Whisky

Pike Creek Whisky is a distinctive Canadian expression celebrated for its unique maturation process. After initial aging in traditional ex-bourbon barrels, this whisky undergoes a signature finishing period in various wine casks within non-temperature-controlled warehouses near the shores of Lake Erie. This extreme climate cycling—hot summers and cold winters—forces the whisky to interact intensively with the oak, resulting in an exceptionally rich and complex profile. It presents notes of dried fruit, vanilla, and butterscotch, balanced by a subtle warmth and spicy finish. Bottled at 42% ABV, Pike Creek delivers depth while remaining remarkably smooth, making it a sophisticated choice for those seeking an approachable yet layered Canadian whisky experience.
