QuiQuiRiQui Madrecuishe Mezcal is an exceptional expression crafted in Oaxaca, Mexico, using the elongated Madrecuishe agave—a wild varietal known for its slow maturation and complex flavor profile. This mezcal is produced with deep respect for traditional, centuries-old methods. The agave hearts are hand-harvested and baked in conical earth ovens over wood fires, imparting the distinct, smoky signature of quality mezcal. The cooked agave is then crushed using a stone wheel (Tahona) before fermentation in open oak tanks. The final spirit is double-distilled in small copper pot stills and bottled at 47% ABV. The result is a full-flavored mezcal showcasing unique notes of damp earth, tropical fruit, and a pleasant minerality, balanced by a refined smoky finish.
