Radio-Coteau’s Harrison Grade Syrah is a benchmark expression from the cool, coastal reaches of the Sonoma Coast, specifically grown on a ridge top site exposed to the Pacific breezes. This single-vineyard bottling is farmed organically and captures the finesse and savory complexity characteristic of cool-climate Syrah.
Meticulously crafted with a high percentage of whole clusters and native yeast fermentation, the wine offers an intricate profile. Expect intense aromas of black pepper, smoked meat, dark cherry, and garrigue. On the palate, it is powerfully structured yet elegant, exhibiting fine tannins and a vibrant acidity that frames the rich core of black and blue fruit. This Syrah requires time in the glass or cellar to fully unfurl its layers, revealing a long, mineral-driven finish. It pairs exceptionally well with roasted game or deeply flavored stews.
