Redbreast 12 Year Old Cask Strength is a superb expression of Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey, bottled straight from the barrel without chill filtration, resulting in exceptional intensity and complexity. As a pure pot still whiskey, it is triple distilled from a mash of both malted and unmalted barley.
This high-proof bottling delivers a powerful wave of flavor, featuring rich notes of dried fruits, warming Christmas spices, and deep sherry sweetness derived from its maturation in a combination of ex-Bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry butts. Expect a velvety mouthfeel and a long, satisfying finish with hints of toasted oak and marzipan. This is a must-try for aficionados who appreciate the raw, undiluted character of Ireland’s most awarded whiskey style.
