Renegade New Bacolet Etudes Rum is a distinctive, single-field rum, meticulously crafted from "lacalome red" cane harvested in the year 2000 from the New Bacolet field. This pot still expression captures the unique terroir of its south-facing origins in Grenada.
It was aged for its duration in a strategic blend of casks, primarily 76% First Fill American Oak, balanced by 24% Premium French Oak, resulting in a complex and layered profile. Bottled at a robust 55% ABV, this rum delivers intense character, showcasing notes of the distinctive cane alongside rich oak influence and warming spice.
