Rhum Depaz Vieux Plantation is a superb Rhum Agricole from the island of Martinique, recognized by its Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée (AOC) status, signifying strict adherence to traditional production methods. This expression is distilled directly from freshly pressed sugarcane juice, rather than molasses, which imparts a distinctly earthy and vegetal character often associated with premium Agricole. Aged in oak barrels in the tropical climate, the spirit develops a complex profile featuring rich notes of dried fruit, cinnamon, vanilla, and honey, balanced by a subtle underlying minerality. Its depth and refinement make it an outstanding example of aged Martinique rum, perfect for sophisticated sipping or elevating classic rum cocktails.
