Scapegrace Black Gin is an innovative, high-quality New Zealand gin that stands out for its dramatically dark, natural black color. Crafted using a unique blend of botanicals, including aronia berry, saffron, pineapple, and sweet potato, the spirit delivers a smooth and complex profile. It initially offers bright citrus and floral notes, evolving into a layered palate with a subtle earthy sweetness and a crisp finish. The gin's black hue is derived naturally from plant extracts, but its most striking feature is the transformation: when mixed with tonic water, the pH shift causes the liquid to change to a brilliant pink/purple. This exceptional spirit combines traditional distillation expertise with visual flair, making it perfect for both sophisticated sipping and stunning cocktails.
