The name "Shinobu" means forbearance in Japanese, reflecting the patience required during the whisky's creation. This expression combines select malt whiskies from around the world, which are then finished in Japanese Mizunara oak barrels. The result is a delicate yet complex profile. On the palate, expect rich notes of honey, malted barley, and creamy vanilla, complemented by the distinctive, subtle spice and sandalwood aromas imparted by the rare Mizunara oak.
