Smokehead Sherry Cask Blast Whisky

Smokehead Sherry Cask Blast is an intensely peated Islay single malt whisky that offers a dramatic yet luxurious twist through its secondary maturation in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks. This expression delivers the classic Smokehead punch of smoke, peat, and maritime salt, which is then brilliantly complemented by a rich infusion of dark fruit and sweet spice from the sherry wood. The profile is bold and uncompromising. On the nose, it greets you with powerful smoke and sea spray, leading to notes of rich dates, sticky toffee, and dark chocolate. The palate is a 'blast' of dry peat fire, tempered by a velvety layer of red berries and creamy vanilla. The finish is long, warm, and deeply complex, making it a thrilling choice for those who love their peat big and their finish sweet.
