Specht Slivovitz

Specht Slivovitz is a distinguished traditional plum brandy, or *pálenka*, hailing from the Czech Republic, where the Specht family has perfected the art of fruit distillation for generations. This spirit is crafted exclusively from ripe blue plums, which are fermented and double-distilled in copper pot stills to capture the fruit’s rich, intense character. Unlike many commercial brandies, Slivovitz is often aged for a period to mellow its spirit, resulting in a clean, powerful, and dry profile. The palate offers a robust expression of concentrated plum fruit, almonds from the plum pit, and a peppery warmth.
