Spytail Cognac Cask Rum is a unique, premium black rum from Trinidad and Tobago, aged in former Cognac casks, a process that lends a sophisticated twist to its profile. This rum is named after the Spytail, an early deep-sea submersible used for exploration. The spirit is distilled in column stills and then meticulously blended before being transported to France for its final maturation in the renowned châteaux of the Cognac region.
This unconventional aging imparts rich, complex notes of spice, vanilla, and dark fruit, beautifully complemented by the subtle, dry undertones of French oak and rancio characteristic of fine Cognac.
