Known historically as Maria Gomes in Portugal, Fernão Pires was originally planted in the Cape for brandy production but is now championed by the makers of Strange Bru. This bottling comes from some of the region's oldest remaining blocks, at 37 years old. Exhibiting the vibrant charm of this cultivar, the wine is best enjoyed young. It delivers a refreshing and aromatic profile, showcasing the grape's natural intensity.
