Tapat??o A??ejo Tequila is a sophisticated and highly respected expression, aged for a minimum of 18 months in deeply charred American white oak barrels. Produced by the renowned Camarena family at La Alte??a Distillery, this tequila is crafted using 100% estate-grown Blue Weber agave, which is slow-cooked in traditional stone ovens. The extensive aging process imparts a beautiful amber color and complex flavor profile. Expect rich notes of dried fruit, toasted oak, vanilla, and butterscotch, beautifully balanced by the underlying spicy and earthy agave character. Bottled at a slightly higher proof, it maintains its intensity and depth, culminating in a long, smooth, and warm finish. This is an excellent choice for sipping neat or enjoying in an elevated, spirit-forward cocktail.
