The Botanist Islay Cask Rested Gin is a unique spirit that integrates the rich heritage of Bruichladdich Distillery???s whisky making with their botanical expertise. This Islay dry gin is matured for a minimum of six months in a selection of fine casks, allowing it to develop a complex and vibrant profile. It is distilled with 22 hand-foraged local Islay botanicals, which lend it an intense herbaceous character, including juniper, woodruff, and bitter orange rind. The cask resting process introduces strong barrel notes of sweet oak, vanilla cream, and warming wood spices like cinnamon and cassia.
