The Deacon Blended Scotch Whisky is a vibrant and unexpected expression, bringing together a premium selection of malts from Islay and the Speyside region. This unique combination balances the intense, peaty smoke of the coastal Islay whiskies with the elegant, fruity, and smooth character of Speyside malts.
The result is a complex and highly drinkable blend. Expect pronounced notes of smoke, char, and maritime salt on the nose, which beautifully give way to a palate rich with sweet spice, delicate citrus zest, and baked apple. Bottled at 40% ABV, The Deacon offers a modern, velvety mouthfeel and a long, warming finish. It’s a versatile and bold choice, perfect for sipping neat or elevating classic whisky cocktails like a smoky Old Fashioned.
