The Lost Explorer Espad??n Mezcal is a sweet and herbaceous expression of Oaxaca???s national spirit, crafted from 100% Espad??n agave (Agave Angustifolia) that has matured for approximately eight years. Produced by Maestro Mezcalero Fortino Ramos in San Pablo Huixtepec, the agave hearts are pit-cooked and crushed using a traditional Tahona, followed by double distillation in copper stills. This meticulous artisanal process yields a Joven mezcal renowned for its balance and approachability. It presents bright notes of red apple and ripe fruits, beautifully complemented by a subtle, mild smoky finish. Bottled at 42% ABV, it is excellent for sipping neat to appreciate its complexity or for creating elevated mezcal cocktails.
