Thoquino Cachaça is a premium Brazilian spirit distilled from fresh, hand-cut sugarcane juice, not molasses, making it a true *aguardente de cana*. Produced in the state of Rio de Janeiro, this cachaça is crafted using traditional methods, including distillation in copper pot stills, which helps preserve the vibrant, grassy, and floral notes of the sugarcane. Unlike many industrial cachaças, Thoquino is rested in large, traditional wood vats (often Jequitibá or Amendoim wood) for a period, which imparts an exceptional smoothness and slight complexity without overpowering the fresh base spirit.
