Tomintoul Tarn Whisky

Tomintoul Tarn is a distinct single malt Scotch whisky, inspired by the high mountain lochs of the Cairngorms, known as "tarns," and the ancient peat that surrounds them. Bottled at 40% ABV, this expression captures a uniquely smoky, sweet, and earthy character. It is distilled with an intense peat influence, offering a nose rich with whiffs of campfire smoke and burnt heather, which gracefully evolve into aromas of honey and orchard fruits. The palate is smoky and sweet, presenting complex layers of peat smoke balanced by notes of boiled sweets, vanilla pod, and a hint of soft liquorice. This single malt offers a truly unique taste shaped by over 10,000 years of history since the last ice age.
