Transcontinental Rum Line Panama 2015 is a distinguished 6-year-old expression created from fermented molasses and distilled using a column still. This rum utilizes a two-phase aging process, spending six years maturing in American oak barrels within Panama's tropical climate before being transported to France for final bottling at 43%. This dual maturation ensures a complex and refined profile. It is bottled without added coloring or sugar, presenting an amber color with brown-gold reflections. The nose is inviting, showcasing aromas of candied orange, sweet coconut, apricot, and rich caramel. The result is an elegant and pure rum that reflects its Panamanian origins and meticulous transatlantic finishing.
