Trementi Rosso Appassimento is a rich and concentrated red wine crafted in the Veneto region, utilizing the traditional appassimento method, similar to that used for Amarone. This technique involves carefully hand-harvested grapes being partially dried in well-ventilated rooms for several weeks. This process concentrates the sugars, acids, and flavors, resulting in a wine of exceptional depth and complexity. The wine showcases a deep ruby red color and offers intense aromas of stewed dark fruit, such as black cherry and plum, complemented by notes of vanilla, chocolate, and subtle spice from oak aging. The palate is full-bodied and velvety, balancing rich fruit sweetness with structured tannins and a long, warm finish. It pairs beautifully with hearty dishes like roasted red meats, game, and aged cheeses.
