Uggiano Brunello di Montalcino is one of Italy's most prestigious red wines, hailing exclusively from the hilltop town of Montalcino in Tuscany and crafted entirely from the Sangiovese Grosso grape. This expression showcases an intense ruby red color and an ethereal, complex bouquet that opens with aromas of violet and wild berries, transitioning to notes of cloves and vanilla. Aged for a minimum of 36 months in Slavonian oak casks, this Brunello achieves optimal structure and consistency. The mouthfeel is warm, dry, full-bodied, and slightly tannic, promising excellent aging potential. It is known for its ability to reflect its terroir, offering a rich, rounded, and harmonious taste. This wine pairs exquisitely with grilled meats, game, and seasoned cheeses.
