Vaccari Sambuca is a classic Italian anise-flavored liqueur celebrated globally for its smooth, bright, and invigorating taste. Produced by the historic house of Vaccari, which dates back to 1868, this spirit is meticulously crafted from star anise, yielding its distinct licorice notes. The flavor is further enhanced by elderflower and other secret botanicals.
Bottled in Italy, Vaccari Sambuca is exceptionally versatile. Traditionally, it is served neat as a digestif, often ignited for a brief moment to create the "flaming sambuca," or presented "con la mosca" (with the fly), which features three coffee beans floating in the glass, signifying health, happiness, and prosperity. Its sweetness and aromatic complexity also make it an excellent modifier for cocktails or enjoyed simply over ice.
