Vago Espadín by Emigdio Jarquín is an artisanal Mezcal from Miahuatlán, Oaxaca, representing the pure tradition of the Jarquín family. Crafted by Maestro Mezcalero Emigdio Jarquín, this expression uses 100% Espadín agave, which is pit-roasted, tahona-milled, and double-distilled in a copper pot still.
This Mezcal is renowned for its balanced, approachable profile, perfect for both newcomers and aficionados. It offers a subtle, sweet smokiness that complements bright herbal, citrus, and mineral notes from the earth, characteristic of the Miahuatlán terroir. The taste is clean with a peppery finish, showcasing true craft distillation. It is bottled at a proof chosen by the distiller to best represent the spirit.
